ఓట్ల తొల‌గింపుపై టాక్స్‌ పేయర్స్‌ అసోసియేషన్ స్పంద‌న‌- రాష్ట్ర ప్రధాన ఎన్నికల అధికారికి లేఖ‌

ప్రభుత్వాన్ని వ్యతిరేకిస్తున్నవాళ్ల ఓట్లు తొలగిస్తున్నారన్న అభిప్రాయం రాష్ట్రంలో బలంగా ఉన్న నేపధ్యంలో అర్హులైన ప్రతి పౌరుని పేరు ఓటర్ల జాబితాలో ఉండేలా చూడటం ఎన్నికల సంఘం బాధ్యత అని టాక్స్‌ పేయర్స్‌ అసోసియేషన్‌ స్పష్టంచేసింది. ఈ అభిప్రాయం ప్రజలనుండి తొలగి పోవాలంటే పక్కా ఓటర్ల జాబితా రూపొందించటమే ఏకైక మార్గమని, అందుకోసం ఎన్నికల సిబ్బంది ఇంటింటికి తిరిగి ఓట్ల వెరిఫికేషన్‌ చేసేలా ఉత్తర్వులు జారీ చేయాలని టాక్స్‌ పేయర్స్‌ అసోసియేషన్‌ రాష్ట్ర ప్రధాన ఎన్నికల అధికారిని మరోసారి డిమాండ్‌ చేసింది. ఆ మేరకు రాష్ట్ర ప్రధాన ఎన్నికల అధికారి గాపాలకృష్ణ ద్వివేదికి ఒక లేఖ వ్రాశింది. హైదరాబాద్‌లో ఐ.టి.గ్రిడ్‌ ఇండియా లిమిటెడ్‌ సంస్థపై సైబరాబాద్‌ పోలీసులు చేసిన దాడిలో ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్‌కు చెందిన 3 కోట్లమంది ఓటర్ల జాబితాలు, ఆధార్‌ డేటాలు ఆ సంస్థ వద్ద దొరకటం, ఆ సంస్థ రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వానికి, తెలుగు దేశం పార్టీకి ఐటి సేవలందించేదిగా ఉండటంతో ప్రభుత్వాన్ని వ్యతిరేకిస్తున్నవాళ్ల పేర్లు ఓటర్ల జాబితానుండి తొలగిస్తున్నారన్న జనాభిప్రాయానికి బలం చేకూరిందని ఆలేఖలో స్పష్టం చేసింది. తమ అనుమతి లేకుండా ఓటర్ల జాబితానుండి పేర్లు తొలగించటం సాధ్యంకాదని రాష్ట్ర ప్రధాన ఎన్నికల అధికారి చేసిన ప్రకటనను ఆలేఖలో తప్పుబట్టింది. కొంతమంది ఆన్‌ లైన్‌ ద్వారా ఇతరుల ఓట్ల తొలగింపుకు దరఖాస్తు చేస్తున్నారని, మరి కొన్ని చోట్ల ఇతరుల ఓట్ల తొలగింపుకు నేరుగా ఫారం 7లో దరఖాస్తులు చేస్తున్నారని వస్తున్న వార్తలను బట్టి ఎవరైనా ఇతరుల ఓట్ల తొలగింపుకు దరఖాస్తు చేయవచ్చునని స్పష్టమవుతున్నదని ఆ లేఖలో పేర్కొంది. అలా దరఖాస్తు చేసిన వారిని గుర్తించి కేసులు నమోదు చేసినంత మాత్రాన జరిగిన నష్టం పూడదని, అర్హులైన ప్రతి పౌరుడిని ఓటరుగా చేర్చినప్పుడే జరిగిన నష్టం సరిదిద్దబడుతుందని ఆ లేఖలో తెలియజేసింది. రెండు నెలల క్రితమే ఓటర్ల జాబితాలో జరుగుతున్న అవకతవకలను టాక్స్‌ పేయర్స్‌ అసోసియేషన్‌ రాష్ట్ర ప్రధాన ఎన్నికల అధికారి దృష్టికి వ్రాతపూర్వకంగా తీసుకు వచ్చింది. ఇంటింటికి తిరిగి ఓట్ల వెరిఫికేషన్‌ చేపట్టడం ద్వారా అర్హులైన ప్రతి పౌరుడిని ఓటరుగా చేర్చే విధంగా ఎన్నికల సంఘం చర్యలు తీసుకొనటం ద్వారా ఆ సమస్యను పరిష్కరించాలని టాక్స్‌ పేయర్స్‌ అసోసియేషన్‌ డిమాండు చేసింది. అయినప్పటికీ రాష్ట్ర ప్రధాన ఎన్నికల అధికారి పట్టించుకోలేదు. యధావిధిగా ఓట్లను చేర్పించే బాధ్యతను రాజకీయ పార్టీలకు వదలి వేశారు. మీరే వచ్చి ఓటరుగా చేరండని ప్రజలకు చెప్పారు. రాష్ట్ర ఎన్నికల సంఘం బాధ్యతా రాహిత్యం వలననే అక్రమంగా ఓట్లు తొలగించే ప్రకియ జోరందుకున్నదని స్పష్టమవుతున్నది. ఈ విషయాన్ని రాష్ట్ర ప్రధాన ఎన్నికల అధికారి దృస్టికి తీసుకు వస్తూ, ఇప్పటికైనా ఎన్నికల సిబ్బంది ఇంటింటికి తిరిగి ఓట్ల వెరిఫికేషన్‌ చేసేలా ఉత్తర్వులు జారీ చేయాలని టాక్స్‌ పేయర్స్‌ అసోసియేషన్‌ మరోసారి డిమాండ్‌ చేసింది.

Memorandum dated 03.03.2019 to Chief Election Office Andhra Pradesh on deletion of Votes from Voter Lists

Respected sir,
Sub: Deletion of Votes in Andhra Pradesh from electoral rolls.
We, Tax Payers Association, Vijayawada,  wrote a letter dated 11.12.2018 to Sri R.P. Sisodia, IAS, the then  Chief Electoral Officer explaining the flaws in Voter lists including the pervasive opinion of the people about the deletion of their names from Voter Lists.  As the letter is self explanatery, we are enclosing the copy of the letter for your ready reference.
Later we went thorough the news papers that you had asserted that it is not possible to anybody to delete the Votes from Voter Lists.  In making such statement, your office had covinently forgotten that it is the responsibility of the Election Commission to dispel the fears existing in the minds of the people that the ruling party, weilding its power, is managing the election staff in deleting the votes of the cizens who are against the ruling party or who are for the opposition parties.  This can be done only by arranging to make door to door verification of voters by the Election Staff. Insted of doing this,  Election Commission simply passed the responsibility on to the people to enrol themselves and left the matter to political parties. It is nothing but abdication of the democratic responsibility by the Election Commission.
Adding fuel to the fears existing in the minds of the people,  today's News Papers carreid a news item that the Cyberabad Police had raided the office of " IT GRIDS India Ltd" located at Hyderabad which is working for Government of Andhra Pradesh in making Apps and working for ruling Telugu Desam Party as well and this institution had the voterlists in their possession containg  3 cr votes of Andhra Prtadesh with AADHAAR numbers shared by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.  So it seems that somthing is happening to the voterlists. News are coming that some people are applying impersonally for the deletion of other's votes.  Whether " IT GRIDS India Ltd" Company has committed a crime or not will be decided by Judiciary.  But the chances of  impersonation for applying for the deletion of the Votes can not be ruled out.  Media has reported that CEO of AP has ordered for filing cases against perpetrators.  Mere filing cases can not repair the damage caused hitherto.  The damage can be repaired only by making door-to-door verification of the votes by election staff.  Additions and deletions can be made only during this verification.
Two months back, we brought it to the notice of CEO, AP  and demanded for door-to-door verification. But our demand has been paid no heed.  The main aim of our demand is that any eligible citizen of Andhra Pradesh should not forego his vote and the right to choose his representative in State Assembly and Loksabha. So, we  once again urge your goodselves to pay heed to our demand and order to conduct door-to-door verification of the votes in order to save the democracy.
